Senior Project Engineer
  • Design of intuitive validation and production fixtures using LabVIEW, C#, and embedded systems (microcontrollers, user input/output).
  • Design of Consumer Electronics and cables (automotive, home craft market, industrial, home use, medical) for overseas production. Design involved circuit and PCB design, as well as production assistance.
  • Perform engineering checks on customer supplied designs, as well as offer suggestions for cost-saving measures.
  • Interface with multidisciplinary teams in UT and China to ensure project schedule and deliverables are met.

  • Contracted by a Burlingame, CA based Telematics Company to design low power GPS data logger. Design featured in Popular Science magazine as the “Invention of the Month” in the February 2008 issue.
  • Contracted by a New York, NY based Branding Agency to design interface PCB that connected to custom motherboard using USB/Serial communications and Bluetooth. Product is currently in production.
  • Subject matter consultant for a San Francisco, CA based Digital Signage company for the resort, hospitality, commercial, museum, and transportation industry.
  • Designed custom breakout and development PCBs for various clients that included sensors (humidity, temperature, movement/motion, noise/sound, heat, visible and IR light) and short-range data capability (Bluetooth, off-the-shelf short range modules).
